💡 Aggregate Tips
- Roadbase: Best for driveways/paths, compacts well, stable base
- Crusher Dust: Fine, excellent for paver bedding, compacts tight
- Compaction: Use plate compactor, compact in 100-150mm layers
- Moisture: Slightly damp material compacts better than bone dry
- Blue Metal: Drainage applications, doesn't compact as much
- Delivery: Trucks typically 6t (single axle) or 10t (tandem)
- Access: Ensure truck can get within 10m of site or add labour
