Common questions about joining Tradies Nation
How does pricing work?
We charge 10% up to a maximum of $300 per completed job. You pay AFTER the customer pays you. No upfront costs. No gambling on leads. $500 job = $50 fee. $5,000 job = $300 fee (capped). $50,000 job = still just $300 fee (capped).
Do I add the platform fee to my customer quote?
NO. This gets you removed immediately. The platform fee is YOUR cost for using our service. It is NOT the customer's cost. Quote your job price. We take our fee from you after the job is complete. Any tradie adding platform fees to customer prices will be removed with zero tolerance.
How do I get paid?
The customer pays you directly for the work. Once you're paid, you pay us our fee (10% up to $300 max). Simple and transparent.
What if a customer doesn't pay me?
If the customer doesn't pay you, you don't pay us. We only get paid when jobs complete successfully. We're aligned with your success.
How do I get connected with customers?
Customers submit job requests through our site. We review the request and connect them with verified tradies in their area based on the service needed. You'll be contacted when there's a connection.
What areas do you cover?
We cover all of Australia. 1,462 suburbs across NSW, VIC, QLD, WA, SA, TAS, ACT, and NT.
What do I need to join?
Valid trade license, current public liability insurance (minimum $5M), valid ABN, and 2-3 recent customer references. We verify everything before listing.
How long does vetting take?
We're a solo operator vetting tradies every day. Typically 1-3 business days. We don't use automation because quality matters more than speed.
Can I choose which jobs I take?
Absolutely. We connect you with customers, but you decide if you want the job. No obligation to accept every connection.
Is there a contract or lock-in period?
No lock-in. No contract. You're free to leave anytime. We earn your business with every job.
What if I have a dispute with a customer?
Contact us immediately at complaints@tradies.jack1001.ai. We'll help mediate and resolve fairly.
Where does my platform fee go?
100% back into the platform. SEO, customer reach, better tools, quality checks, growing the network nationwide. Zero personal profit. We grow the nation together.
Can I get removed from the platform?
Yes. We remove tradies for: unlicensed work, adding platform fees to customer prices, poor quality work, customer complaints, insurance lapses, or anything that violates our mission.
Do you guarantee me work?
No. We connect customers with tradies, but we can't guarantee volume. We're growing every day. The more tradies join, the more customers come through.
